Un des couples de Sittelle corse que nous suivons et qui nous sert de modèle photographique a continué à aménager la loge, en apportant divers matériaux, feuilles, plumes, fil etc. Nous avons ensuite pu voir le mâle apporter de la nourriture à la femelle qui couvait, tout en surveillant son environnement. Ce matin en arrivant : plus rien.
La loge est éclatée ( probablement par un pic épeiche qui est un prédateur naturel des Sittelles). C’est la loi de la nature : belle et fragile..
